In the same spirit, Cooptalis Vietnam is currently looking for international Senior Game Designer (M/F) for one of our clients, a leading European game company in Vietnam.



Mission

  • Review and evaluate competitive products, film, music, television, and other art forms to generate new Game Design ideas
  • Keep updated with game design technology and techniques, industry trends, or audience interests, reactions, and needs
  • Balance and adjust gameplay experiences in order to ensure the critical and commercial success of the products
  • Oversee gameplay testing to ensure intended gaming experience and game adherence to original vision
  • Develop and maintain design documentation
  • Determine supplementary “virtual features”, such as currency, shop items, menu design, and audio direction
  • Define Meta, Monetization and Retention strategies of the games
  • Provide feedbacks to production team and art team to ensure the final quality of the game: art quality, gameplay polish, and ergonomics
  • Creating Gameplay Prototypes and a database of Gameplay Concepts
  • Mentor, coach and train Junior Game designers and other assigned members
  • Support Studio Lead Game designer in training contents preparation, resource allocation and game design technical issues


Profile

  • At least 4-5 years' experience in a Game Designer role
  • Strong understanding of the market and target audience of Mobile Video Games
  • Solid knowledge about Game Design including game mechanics, level design, and UI/UX
  • Strong knowledge about Business models, monetization psychology, monetization strategy, Game retention strategy and game reward systems
  • Extensive experience of balancing complex game systems
  • Basic programming knowledge, drawing and 3D design skills
  • Good leadership and organizational skills with previous experience in leading a small team
  • Creative, imaginative and original
  • Good storytelling ability, communication skills and presentation skills
  • Good adaptation, able to work under pressure and high commitment
  • Advanced level of English
