Our client, a major player in industrial retail, is looking for a Network and Security Engineer H/F to participate in the infrastructure modernisation process and also to manage all the technical projects relating to the design, implementation and validation of infrastructure solutions.


Main tasks:

Technical expertise :
  • Ensure that the technical needs of the various IT and business contacts are taken into account (service level, quality and deadline requirements, etc.)
  • Propose complete and integrated technical solutions that meet the needs expressed and are aligned with the IT department's technological trajectory,
  • Provide advice and expertise to the Infrastructure and Research teams on the various technical areas covered, in particular the network infrastructure.

Project management :
  • Contribute to the fulfilment of infrastructure project commitments, in terms of deadlines, quality and budget, by ensuring :
    • Management of technical work throughout the projects: infrastructure sizing, design, implementation, acceptance, start-up
    • Coordination of the various technical contributors to the project,
    • The availability of all the means necessary for the successful completion of projects (test set, monitoring tools, procedures, etc.)
    • Ensure internal and external communication of the project, in particular with the technical teams (Infrastructure, Studies) in a role of "spokesperson" for the project.
  • Leads the quality of service for the duration of the project:
    • Proposes and documents the post-project operating processes to ensure the availability of the solution, in the context of the creation of the "Production" department within the ISD.
    • Ensure the maintenance in operational condition (MCO) of the whole solution during the project phase, until the Regular Service Validation (VSR) of the project.

Internal/external relations :
  • Operationally supervises the various service providers (integrator, various technical experts) involved in the project,
  • Contributes to the teamwork within the ISD to ensure the smooth running of the project,
  • Communicates the technical issues and objectives of the project to the various departments of the IT department.
  • Reports and summarises budget indicators (commitments, landings, etc.)
Scope :
  • Locations: 200 branches, 2 headquarters, 8 central and regional logistics platforms
  • Users: 2,500 users

Environment :
  • Monitoring/supervision : Zabbix, Opcon
  • Network environment: Hp/Aruba, Cisco.
  • Security solutions: Stormshield, Fortinet, ATP
  • Public cloud: Azure, Azure NSG/Firewall
  • Collaborative tools: Exchange, Office 365.
  • Operating Systems: Linux, Microsoft, Unix, VCenter
  • Server/PC management/administration solutions: Active Directory, Wsus
  • VOIP
  • MPLS operator


Profil :

Technical skills :
  • Network: WAN, LAN in their Hardware and Systems components, Services
    WAN, LAN (routage ...), Firewalling (Fortigate, stormshield,NSG), WLAN (Cisco), Switching (Hp/Aruba), Proxy
  • Solution: DNS, DHCP, Certificates, in an Active directory environment.
  • Project management methodology

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in the field of technical projects is essential,
  • Advanced technical expertise in the technical areas mentioned,
  • High sensitivity to quality of service issues of technical infrastructures
