Anywr is currently looking for a Security Engineer – Belgium (M/F/X) for our project.

Mission

As a Security Engineer, you will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our applications, systems, and networks are secure and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for our applications, systems, and networks
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks
• Monitor security events using Splunk, Graylog, and other tools
• Investigate and respond to security incidents
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that our applications are secure and compliant with industry standards
• Conduct security reviews of third - party vendors and products
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Security Engineer with expertise in Firewall, IDS/IPS, Cryptography, Splunk, Graylog, Burp Suite, and SonarQube
• Experience with one or more of the following Network Security Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, Penetration Testing, or Incident Response
• Excellent communication skills in English and French, both verbal and written
• Strong problem - solving and analytical skills
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST is a plus
