As SDM you will be the main point of entry for the Middleware application, to ensure project management, team coordination and quality of delivery. You will have under your direct responsibility a Project team to deal with evolution and continuous improvement requests, and a MCO team for maintenance and production management.

The scope of this assignment is a fixed price contract and you will be the SPOC to the Client on the Middleware application.


In this context, you are specifically responsible for :
  • Ensuring commitments with the client
  • Ensure compliance with project KPIs (processing time for requests, quotes, planning, reporting, SLAs, etc.)
  • Ensure smooth coordination between the client (Management, Business, Functional Analyst) and the internal teams (Project, MCO, Run, Infrastructure, DBA, Expertise, Foundation, etc.)
  • Managing resources and planning their activities
  • Prepare the workload plan
  • Manage invoicing
  • Prepare & facilitate the weekly meeting with the Client
  • Send regular reports to the N-1 teams and the N+1 manager
  • Participate in the preparation of the Steering Committee support
  • Managing risks and escalating alerts

You will also be responsible for :
  • Deploying the agile mindset
  • Facilitating agile ceremonies, including Daily meetings
  • Integrate the team into a DevOps dynamic
  • Ensure that the team delivers quality products
  • Developing Leadership within the team
  • Mentoring the team, especially the Leaders

Methods & Technical Environment :
  • Agile (Scrum for Project, Kanban for MCO),
  • ITIL
  • Software AG WebMethods, BPM, API Gateway,
  • Java, SQL, Git
  • AWS Cloud,
  • Jenkins, CrossVista


Required skills (Must Have) :
  • 5+ years experience
  • Very good communication skills (oral and written, in French and English)
  • Experience in Run/Production management (at least one year)
  • Have worked in an Agile environment (ideally SAFe)
  • Good knowledge of configuration management
  • Good knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Good knowledge of DevOps culture
  • Good knowledge of testing strategies (UT, IT, NRT, LT, PT etc.)
  • WebMethods (Basic knowledge, or at least familiar with REST/Soap/Microservices)
  • AWS Cloud (Basics)
