Mission

We are now recruiting a Data Engineer (H/F) for our IT Services subsidiary based in BELGIUM as part of an expatriation process.

As a Data Engineer (M/F), you will work in teams with recognised know-how on projects for clients mainly in the banking, finance or insurance sectors.

Your main tasks will be :

• Gathering business needs
• Develop technical solutions for data collection via APIs.
• Develop technical solutions for data storage (Hadoop
• Integrate data source flows into the Big Data environment (Datalake, Datahub)
• Take into account the integration constraints (real time or batch)
• Consolidate, enrich and optimise the raw data, which will be used by the business
• Optimising access times in relation to consultation requests
• Ensure production monitoring and maintenance.
• Develop the industrialisation of statistical or machine learning models.

Profile

What about you?

You have a minimum of 5 to 6 years experience in a similar position and you master the following elements

• Mastery of programming languages : Scala, Java, Python, Shell, VBA, R, SQL
• Mastery and management of SQL databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL...) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB...)
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools: Talend, Oracle,
• Strong expertise in SQL and derivatives: SQL, hiveql
• Mastery of flow management frameworks: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Mastery of operating systems: Unix, Windows...
• Knowledge of techniques for improving the performance of queries and BI systems
• Consolidate data, produce KPIs and build dashboards using tools such as Excel , Power BI, Tableau Software or QlikView.
• Be comfortable in cloud environments: GCP, Azure, AWS
• Be comfortable with continuous integration and deployment tools: Jenkins, git, github, gitlab, CI/CD creation, docker, Ansible, kubernetes, etc.
• Have a basic knowledge of Machine Learning, Data science, and Artificial Intelligence to be able to work in collaboration with Data Scientists
• Experience in banking and/or insurance preferred
